Project Title: The National Platforms Partnerships – Cycle 6 Duration: December 1, 2024 – November 30, 2025 Funded by : FORUS International Implemented by : NGO Federation of Nepal (NFN) Project Overview: Through a strategic partnership with FORUS, the NGO Federation of Nepal (NFN) is implementing a one-year project titled The National Platforms Partnerships- Cycle 6. This initiative focuses on strengthening NFN’s institutional capacity to foster a more effective, inclusive, and sustainable civil society platform in Nepal. Key objectives include developing essential governance and management policies, orienting 280 central, provincial, and district- level members on strategic themes such as sustainability, digital civic space, and digital literacy, and digitizing NFN’s membership and knowledge management systems. The project supports NFN’s broader mission to lead a more accountable, networked, and capable civil society, and aligns with Forus’s global vision of empowering national NGO platforms to adapt to shifting contexts and amplify civil society’s voice in sustainable development.
