Localizing Of SDG 16 In Nepal

This project is designed to intensify engagement of Government, CSOs on SDG 16 to achieve 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development in the country. Overall purpose of this project is to contribute in integrating the indicators of goal 16 indicators in local government policies. Overall purpose of this project is to strengthen engagement of CSOs for implementing the 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development. Specifically, the project aims to: strengthen policy engagement of CSOs on Goal 16 with all three tiers, and to enhance capacity of CSOs to engage on Goal 16 at national and local level. Key Achievements: Organized policy dialogues\ workshops on SDG 16 in National and province level, Organized a National Civil Society Conference, Organized a National Review Meeting on SDG 16 with National Planning Commission Updated the thematic activities of Nepal SDGs Forum at province level and Published handbooks on SDGs 16 specified the related targets and indicators in Nepali
