On the Occasion of International Women’s Day 2023, NFN organized an interaction on Digital Technology and Rights of Women. This was in consideration with the theme of this year, ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’. The meeting consisted of expert presentations and discussion on the digital technology and digital space: opportunities and challenges towards achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. In the changing circumstances of digital technologies, the participants discussed the new forms of gender discrimination, harassment, abuse and inequalities and how the negative effect should be managed. On the other hand, the advantages and opportunities that digital technologies have brought about were also discussed.
